Rain

The rain has come to stay, it seems. 

I don't really remember when it wasn't here, pouring on everything, turning it green and wet.

 Everything is wet. 

The snow pack is way below normal, so I think we are all just repeating to ourselves, " we need this rain." Here's the positive, the rain makes the morning coffee taste that much better and makes for cozy mornings with the kids.

The down side: The lawnmower is broken and it is driving "someone" crazy to see how fast the grass is growing.  Rain might make the mornings great to stay inside and play but by afternoon there is this frenetic energy has built in everyone (especially the 2.5 yr old) and often, like the rain, pours down on everything and everyone, wanted or not.
